How you can make an impact

• Conduct comprehensive risk analysis of DeFi protocols and products, focusing on risk modeling, mechanism design, and parameter optimization
• Build quantitative models to evaluate protocol risks (smart contract, economic, liquidity, market risks) and track emerging vulnerabilities in DeFi ecosystems
• Analyze on-chain data and financial metrics to draw insights specific to protocol requirements
• Develop and deliver professional risk reports, frameworks, and recommendations for clients and the broader community
• Collaborate with product and strategy teams on risk monitoring tools and client deliverables

Let's connect if you have

• Economics background (degree or equivalent experience)
• Mathematical modeling skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proven experience in economic research, risk analysis, or related field
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills (formal research papers, client reports)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment
• Team player able to collaborate with clients and internal teams

Nice to haves

• DeFi protocol knowledge and prior exposure to DeFi space
• Knowledge of Curve ecosystem and Curve products
• Experience with DeFi protocols, financial markets, and risk frameworks
• Proficient in reading and understanding smart contract code
• Familiarity with risk profiling tools and performance optimization techniques
• Prior experience in a research role at a crypto protocol, fund, or fintech firm
